Advanced VoIP Concepts aims to enhance the knowledge of students who have already attended CLACE, CCCF, CLFNDU, or possess equivalent practical experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, IOS gateways, and Cisco IP phones.
The advanced content will focus on Integrated Services Routers functioning as gateways and a Cisco Unified Border Element, Multi-Level Precedence and Pre-emption (MLPP), Cisco On-Premise Collaboration Security concepts, Cisco Meeting Server, and advanced troubleshooting techniques in Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Unity Connection.
The course is designed to be a lab-intensive learning environment that combines instructor presentations with live labs. All labs utilize live virtual machines for Cisco applications, in addition to physical routers and IP phones.
Private deliveries of Advanced VoIP Concepts can be modified to suit the specific site. As a result, AVC can be taught with differing types of content:

- AVC with only CMS content.
- AVC with custom content to meet the needs of the customer’s deployment.
The attached outline marks the content as either Standard, Option 1, or Option 2.
Private deliveries of AVC can be delivered with application versions 12.5, 14.x, and 15.x. Older versions can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
