Description

The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive introduction to the tasks associated with hosting a Cisco Webex session. This course applies to multiple roles, such as presenter, teacher, facilitator, administrator, and more. Students will be guided through four modules of “hands-on” activities to learn how to perform these tasks and will be encouraged to interact with the instructor and moderator (when present) to understand why these tasks are performed.

Objectives

Module 1: Essentials

  • Demonstrate how to start or join a meeting
  • Demonstrate how to manage personal audio and video camera settings
  • Demonstrate how to display attendees (e.g., Grid View)
  • Demonstrate how to download and set up Cisco Webex
  • Describe the fundamental differences between Modern and Classic Views
  • Demonstrate how to configure preferences
  • Demonstrate how to manage contacts
  • Describe the fundamental benefits of Insights

 

Module 2: Coordinator

  • Demonstrate how to schedule, edit, and cancel a session
  • Demonstrate how to manage registration for a session
  • Demonstrate how to generate, download, open, and interpret reports
  • Demonstrate how to retrieve and share recording after session

 

Module 3: Moderator

  •  Demonstrate how to start and stop recording
  •  Demonstrate how to invite and remind attendees to attend session
  •  Demonstrate how to manage audio and video disruptions during session
  •  Demonstrate how to poll attendees
  •  Demonstrate how to chat with attendees
  •  Demonstrate how manage and answer Q&A questions
  •  Demonstrate how to share content
  •  Demonstrate how to transfer files to attendees
  •  Demonstrate how to save session files

 

Module 4: Host

  •  Demonstrate how to start, manage, and end Breakout Sessions
